The Wisconsin Stand-Up Comedy Project (WiSUC) celebrated its 3rd birthday last month, hosting a “Back In Black” showcase at the High Noon Saloon in Madison, WI. Kitty Rhombus opened, followed by a comedy showcase, and The Shabelles wrapped things up.

It’s been since August since I’ve gone out to shoot some lightning (barring that one sunrise in January when several tornados ripped through, but I didn’t get any worthwhile lightning photos from that shoot). The Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house at 237 Langdon St. went up in flames last night. All 25 residents escaped safely, and 3 firefighters were treated for minor injuries while battling the blaze.
