These were shot with the humble ol' kit lens - I needed something wide, and shooting in city lights I didn't need the speed, plus the optical quality improves quite a bit around f/8. Incredibly sad, though, hearing about the lightning-related deaths on the north side, though. That news hits very close to home and is definitely making me re-evaluate my safety while out shooting. Very sobering reminder that this stuff is beautiful and deadly. Thanks Mike!
